FOR A LARGER CYLINDER

This product is designed for those who need or want to upgrade to a Tilton 0,625" (5/8) or 0,75" (3/4 larger bore) clutch master cylinder on their Nissan S-chassis without machining or drilling the firewall.

Many transmission changes require a larger bore clutch master cylinder. Since there is no larger Nissan clutch cylinder to replace, this is the best method. In addition, this product is much more aesthetically pleasing than the Original Equipment master cylinder and visually complements Chase Bay's brake booster eliminator if you already have it.

You can get it with either its own reservoir or a clutch master adapter hose to share fluid with the brake reservoir. For those who already own or plan to own the Chase Bays Brake Booster Eliminator, Chase Bays offers an add-on for this product that further simplifies and improves the aesthetic.

The inset photo shows the clutch master cylinder sharing the brake fluid reservoir. This is standard on most BMW and Mazda chassis, so Chase Bays wanted to incorporate this idea into the S13, S14 and S15 world. If you add the "Clutch Master Adapter Hose" as an accessory, it will include the -6AN hose and fittings to adapt the brake reservoir. This is attached to the clutch master cylinder with the hose adapter supplied by Wilwood.

The plate is 0,125" (1/8 or 3,17mm) steel and has the master cylinder mounting studs pressed in and welded in. The 240sx / Silvia clutch pedal has studs that go through the fire bulkhead, the open holes on the plate are attached to these Studs fastened in the engine compartment. Please ensure the plate on the master cylinder is sufficiently tightened before installing it on the vehicle. The top nut for the Wilwood master cylinder is not accessible after installation due to the proximity of the bulkhead lip.

DETAILS

This won't fit a stock clutch line, but the clutch line Chase Bays offers has a banjo fitting that works perfectly with this product. Simply use the banjo bolt included here when adding the master cylinder to this order, as the thread pitch is different between the stock clutch cylinder and the Tilton clutch cylinder.
